We’re proud to share that Dizplai has been nominated at the 2026 Smarter Sport Awards in the Smarter Immersive Sports Experiences category.
The nomination recognises the work we’ve been doing to turn one-way sports broadcasts into something fans actually want to be part of. Instead of just watching, fans are reacting, voting, submitting voice notes, and shaping the show itself.
For our clients, that participation adds up to something tangible. Every interaction builds a picture of who their fans actually are, turning anonymous viewers into known audiences. That first-party data opens doors: new ways to monetise fans directly, and stronger grounds for commercial partnerships built on real engagement rather than estimated reach.
It’s been a big year. Sky Sports News Fan Club generated over 76,000 fan messages across 15 weeks. The Icons of Football series hit 38 million online views globally, with fans averaging 29 minutes of watch time on YouTube. And through the Global Fan Network, channels like The United Stand have doubled their subscriber base by making every broadcast a two-way conversation.
That’s what this nomination is really about. Not the tech itself, but what it makes possible: fans who feel counted, communities that keep growing, and broadcasts that are worth staying for.
We’re grateful to the teams at Sky Sports, Icons of Football, and the Global Fan Network who trusted us to build something different with them.
Here’s to making it to the next round.
