Fuelling Fan Engagement at The Hundred Draft
Challenge
When the English Cricket Board (ECB) decided to take control of The Hundred Draft broadcast, it sought to make the digital-first live stream more engaging and dynamic than ever seen before in the sport of cricket. The challenge was to create and implement bold, on-brand broadcast graphics that would be highly interactive for the audience. The ECB also needed to create ample opportunities to activate brand activations and promote ticket sales promotions, all while clearly communicating the complex drafting process to a global cricket audience.
Solution
Dizplai collaborated with the ECB and Little Dot to co-design a set of striking, dynamic graphics for the two-hour live show. These interactive broadcast graphics seamlessly wove together The Hundred’s branding with team logos and sponsor badges, ensuring the content met commercial requirements while remaining aligned with The Hundred’s brand guidelines. The Dizplai platform enabled social media integration, pulling in live comments from YouTube, X, and Instagram, supporting the stream in generating high amounts of user-generated content (ugc) and extending the live content’s organic reach.
