Maximising NFL Fan Engagement with ProSieben
Challenge
To enhance the viewing experience and activate a growing European fanbase, German broadcaster ProSieben needed a solution to integrate live audience participation into their NFL broadcasts to cultivate higher levels of fan engagement. The challenge was to source, curate, and feature real-time user-generated content (UGC) in a way that would spark organic conversation and entice viewers to share their experiences.
Solution
Dizplai delivered a comprehensive solution that put fan engagement at the centre of the live NFL streams. Using our cloud-based platform, producers could easily manage live social media integration, sourcing images, comments, and videos from Twitter and Instagram.

The content was then redisplayed using dynamic broadcast graphics, appearing in lower-third tickers during the game and in full-screen carousels during breaks. To further drive interaction, producers also ran a quiz, asking viewers to share their answers via social media, which served as a simple yet effective interactive media element.
