Dizplai held a breakout session on the golden age of sports-based content production.

International broadcast and media members-only association, the IABM, ran a quarterly two-day event on 17 and 18 March. The BaMs LIVE! virtual conference included sessions from the best of the industry, discussing hot topics such as virtual production workflows, innovative tech, and the changes we’ve seen over the last 12 months.

Dizplai were a premium sponsor of the event and ran a one-hour session on how we’re entering the golden age of sports-based content production – looking at how rights holders and content providers are using cloud-based tools to produce and deliver captivating content across broadcast and digital channels.

With the likelihood of empty, or limited capacity stadiums for this year’s huge sporting events, producers are looking to deliver a stadium-like experience to a wider audience, across more platforms. And with monetisation and increased revenues through advertising and sponsored content a major consideration, Scott and Ed highlighted some of the best sports-based content that’s engaged sports fans at home recently.
